Children sort the parts of speech under the correct GHOST heading: noun, adjective, or verb. Each category will end up with 12 items. At the end, there's a sheet to write down the words from the pumpkins under the correct headings. For example, under the noun heading, children would write "pumpkin - pie - vine - seed" under noun, "grow - carve - shine - cut" under verb, and "orange - big - small - tall" under adjective.
Hi there! I'm Sara Unroe and I blog at Miss V's Busy Bees. I am a 3rd Grade Teacher at a public school here in Mobile, Alabama. I moved here three years ago with my husband who is in the Coast Guard. We have three fur babies that we adore dearly. As an educator, I pride myself on the integration of technology in our learning, along with our immense hands-on learning activities we do daily. Thank you for coming by!
