ONE-TO-ONE CORRESPONDENCE (Print & Teach Number Sense) is LOADED with HANDS-ON learning (and Melonheadz graphics!) for your young mathematicians! Your students will not only become proficient at matching objects to numbers, they will have FUN choosing the correct corresponding items on each number page! Your students will gain confidence in recognizing each number as it is represented by everyday objects and kidlettes. They will also be challenged to identify the numbers as: ** Roman numerals ** money ** time ** tally marks ** fingers ** dominoes ** dice ** and traceable print.
Your students will have 18 tiles to cut and sort for numbers one through nine and 12 tiles for numbers 10-20. A number line with the target number highlighted is included for the numbers 10-20. Also, the items on the tiles for numbers 10-20 are grouped by multiples to facilitate instruction on skip counting and simple addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
A bonus sheet, N is for Number, is included for preschoolers and kindergarteners. Your students will use a dot marker on the first half to identify all of the numbers in the picture. Then they will stamp, or write the one-to-one correspondence answers on the second half. This section of the sheet covers numbers 0-10.

Before becoming a homeschooling mom, I received my Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida. After graduating, I had a career as a base planner for the United States Air Force. While working at the USAF Academy, I met my pilot-husband and began travelling the US and growing our family. Since 2005, I have homeschooled our seven children in South Carolina, Washington, New Jersey, Illinois, and now, Alaska! I love being a part of my children's education. We have four boys, three girls and lots of learning styles. Every year brings new learning adventures and challenges--and I look forward to sharing them with you.
