This packet of number bond activities provides for differentiation. The first ten pages require students to complete the number bond by filling in one of the missing parts to create the whole number listed. Pages 11-20 only have the whole number listed allowing students to fill in the two parts and choosing their own number combination for the whole number. Pages 21-30 include one page for each number 1-10. Students are to show all possible number combinations for each number. The last ten pages are blank number bonds for students to choose their own numbers to create number combinations for or for the teacher to write in particular numbers for the parts or whole for students to complete.
As students complete these number bonds, they are learning to add to 10 and subtract from 10.
These number bond activities are great for math groups, whole class math lessons, math centers, morning work, or homework.
I hope your students enjoy completing and creating these number bonds.

I am a kindergarten teacher with 22 years of teaching experience! I received my Doctor of Education degree in Teacher Leadership from Walden University in June 2010. The title of my doctoral study is "Writing Conferences in Kindergarten: Using Feedback to Enhance Student Writing." My passion is teaching writing to my students and providing feedback for their writing experiences. I love teaching kindergarten. It is amazing to see students enter the classroom not even knowing how to hold a pencil and watching them become readers and writers by the end of the year. I love teaching in small groups and rotating student groups with literacy centers and math centers.
