Even though I loved Chemistry in school, I really wish it was taught the way that Dr. Schmidt teaches it! He uses real life type situations to teach about chemistry. I love how he tells us what we need to really know about chemistry and not just useless facts to memorize. The fact that the book is written by a math teaches helps a lot too, because the formulas and math in this chemistry book seem easier to learn and comprehend! This one is going in our permanent library.

Haven't started but love the math series

We haven't started this curriculum but got it for the good deal and we have the early readers and math series. I have looked through it and it looks just like the math series. Very easy to understand and has practical application. I will probably use this as a supplement but I may not it just depends when we get there. I highly recommend the series. This professor understands how kids learn.

Great as usual!

This was a good way to get my oldest interested in Chemistry. As usual, this cannot be a stand-alone curriculum, but it was a great springboard to spark off interest in Chem!

The stories carry on through the exercises, and many of the books have a series of quizzes that bridge them to the next chapter. Some books have all the problem solutions in them, while others have separate answer keys or companions.
