Product Description

With this free set of simple fraction cards, your students will match numerical representations of fractions with a picture of a circle fraction and a picture of a fraction of a group. Includes a board game!

This free set of fraction matching cards and board game will be great for small group instruction or center practice for your young mathematicians! There are ten fractions represented. For each fraction, there are three cards: a picture of a circle fraction, an illustrated fraction of a set, and the numerical representation.

Use the cards for a matching activity or with the "Fraction Race!" board game. The cards would make good flashcards for centers or a whole class activity on your interactive whiteboard.

Enjoy using this Common Core-aligned resource!

I'm proud to have been a teacher for 26 years, with most of my experience and my happiest days spent in the primary grades. I've taught Reading Recovery, Basic Skills, first grade, and even a first grade literacy intervention class. As a big believer in hands-on learning, you'll see that center activities and games are among my favorite resources to create! Student engagement is key to learning that lasts, so I strive to create differentiated fun activities that will keep your students excited about learning!
