Here’s a set of ten math games your first graders will love to play!  Your students will evaluate numerical expressions like “12+6=18” and “2+4>8-1" and decide whether each one is true, “Thumbs Up!" or false,"Thumbs Down!".

There are three ways to play: with a partner, as a whole class game, or as an independent activity in a math center. The games are also a great family activity to send home for extra practice, or for a Family Math Night.
