Father's Day Project - Lunch Bag Scrapbook: My best selling craftivity is now available in a handsome version for Fathers! Dad will absolutely love receiving this precious lunch bag scrapbook as a Father's Day gift! This would be a great gift idea for a Donuts with Dad celebration or Grandparents' Day too.
Detailed step by step instructions and a photo tutorial make this project easy to follow and assemble. **You can see similar scrapbooks my class made for Mother's Day and get a project preview at my blog by following this link:
Pages for a Grandpa and Uncle are also included if needed.
Inside are loads of printable pages for your scrapbook. You will need to purchase lunch bags, some scrapbook paper or colored paper / cardstock, twine and embellishments, so I've also included a letter (you write in the due date and dollar amount) for parents asking for students to help out a little around the house to earn the money toward the craft. I do this every year and the parents think it is a great idea!
This craft is meant to be created in school but finished at home by working together with dad or finishing secretly with mom. In this file is a letter and poem for Dad so that he knows how to add photographs, write on the journaling cards and add keepsakes to the pockets.
Here's what's inside:(50 pages- some are simply directions)
Simple, detailed instructions with pictures that I took of each step
Materials and supplies list
Patterns for tracers that may also be photocopied
Journaling line cards
Father's Day endearing phrases
Cover for the students to color and decorate
Two pull-out tab inserts for pockets (students illustrate)
Two pull-out tab inserts with fill in the blanks about Dad (Dad completes one at home about their child)
"Handmade with Love" sign for the back of the book
**See the thumbnail for a closer look at the adorable pages!**
I am not a scrapbooker, and this is really easy! It does involve some prep work- mainly copying and cutting apart pieces. As one buyer said, it is well worth it! I have done this craftivity with my students and received such great feedback from fathers that appreciated this sweet and unique gift!
I recommend doing this as a whole group project with step by step directions from the teacher or in small groups with the assistance of an adult.
If you are SHORT ON TIME but still LOVE this craft... consider making this brown bag book using Astrobright copy paper in your favorite colors and stapling the book! :)
Thanks for taking a look! Please Pin this item if you like this craft and think that others may want to know where to find it!
