This set can easily compliment a Day of the Dead unit or be used as a Day of the Dead unit. Students will read about the Day of the Dead and work through each of the booklets. You can choose to have them review the information on the filled in booklet or write in their own. I use a mix of these techniques having the booklets that are most difficult to fill in filled in and then having students fill in the other options. We cover 3 to 4 booklets a day and finish this lapbook in about a week.

I just recently started Homeschooling my kids who are in the 5th and 6th grade. They are really fascinated with lapbooking and I really enjoy the creative aspect of it. We discussed the history behind Halloween and The Day of The Dead and we decided to study The Day of The Dead and do a lapbook project on it. Because we are all new to this we knew we wanted to find a kit that was all ready to go. I am so glad we found this one! It has everything I needed and so much more. The pictures included are very vibrant, the information about the traditions of The Day of The Dead are very detailed and have been extremely helpful and the instructions on how to create this lapbook are very informative and provide step by step directions and even show how you can design the lapbook in different ways. My kids love all the pictures for decorating that are included. I love that this kit gives the option to print completed lapbook booklets or to print blank ones to fill in. Overall we are very happy with this set and would highly recommend it!
I have been creating content for the Internet for almost 9 years. When I learned that you could make products and sell them to teachers it was a natural fit. I started by creating products for my children and I to use in our homeschool and have branched out to meet other people's needs as well. I love creating products, love having my children give me feedback, and love hearing from happy homeschoolers and teachers who buy my products! I hope you like them too.
