There are 50 total birthday party theme task cards for students to have a party with! Each card asks students to practice such skills as one-to-one correspondence, counting in sequence, number recognition, and addition/subtraction skills as aligned with the Common Core Kindergarten Math Standards. Students are rewarded for their accomplishments with an ice cream cone coloring sheet to color in every ten cards. The task cards are based on the Kindergarten Common Core Math Standards but can be used as an enrichment activity on the preschool level as well. My 4 year old LOVES to sit and count the colorful graphics with me! Teachers can laminate the set and use dry erase markers with students or even use them for test review practice. They also make a great center during a counting unit. They're so versatile and can be used throughout the school year. Your students will be so excited every time you pull out these task cards!

About the Seller
I am fortunate to be a stay at home mom and wife to my two beautiful children and husband. Teaching has never left my heart because I think it's who I am. I seek to teach my children new things everyday while also encouraging their imaginations.

I firmly believe it is our job to motivate our students and to do so, we need to think like they do. I now have young children and it amazes me what I can get them to willingly participate in if I make it fun for them! Teaching is no different...students will retain so much more valuable information if we find fun ways to present it.
