Ho, ho, ho! Where did Santa’s cookies go? One, two, three...two, one, none! Making these books will give your students tasty fine-motor skills and sight-word practice. For added fun, put the words in a cookie jar or bag. Students remove the words and review. Be sure to provide cookies (or crispy cookie cereal) for students to munch on while reading!
Interactive high-frequency words books are student-made books that are easy to read and fun to make. They have simple text that is repetitive, predictable or rhyming. Look for more seasonal and holiday-themed books in my Smart Kids store.
