1.Choose a “Comprehension that Sticks” graphic organizer that best fits with the text. 2.Have students place one sticky note on top of each box prompt. 3.As students are reading they will try and respond to the prompts or questions behind each sticky note. As they find an answer, they will write it on the sticky note and then place it in the book where they found it. 4.When the entire group is done, have a small or whole group discussion about what they wrote on their sticky notes 5.After discussing their responses, students will place their sticky notes back on their page in the correct squares. This will keep their sticky notes organized and not all over your classroom! 6.Graphic organizers are included with and without pictures to help with differentiation.
