Product Description

American Revolution / Revolutionary War Card Games (Old Maid, Concentration and Go Fish)

This set includes 34 sets of 2 cards each for a total of 68 cards plus an old maid card and 3 direction cards, one for each game.

Each set has a card with a picture of a famous person or event from the American Revolution and their name or the name of an event.  The second card has a description or information about the person or event with a small picture.  I put pictures on both cards so students could check to make sure the matches were correct and this would also ensure the success of struggling students and special education students.

The following people and events are included in this set:

Abigail Adams, Betsy Ross, Molly “Pitcher” Hayes, Phyllis Wheatley, Deborah Samson, George Washington, John Hancock, Crispus Attucks, Lord Cornwallis, Paul Revere, Sam Adams, Thomas Paine, Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, Haym Salomon, Benedict Arnold, Patrick Henry, John Adams, King George, Thomas, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lord North, Boston Massacre, and Boston Tea Party.  Battles include:  Lexington, Concord, Bunker Hill, Trenton, Yorktown, and Saratoga.  Valley Forge and Paul Revere’s Ride are included as well as an old maid card and directions for Old Maid, Concentration and Go Fish.

**Please note the facts and trivia for each person or event is what I found to be accurate, using both books and historical based websites.
