As a classroom teacher, I strongly feel that skills should be reviewed on a regular basis so students stay sharp. I wasn't able to find a book that had a word problem of the day that was aligned to my standards…I didn't want my students to bother answering word problems if they weren't responsible for learning it, so I created my own.
This bundle is 6 month's worth of a spiraling math review of math standards for 3rd grade.Every day there is one word problem from one of the 5 domains. Each question is labeled with the standard it addresses. No more guessing if a question is aligned! This is 5 word problems a week. That means each month your students will be completing 20 aligned word problems in addition to your normal math instruction! Upon completion of this 6 month bundle, your students will have completed an additional 120 word problems!
May and June include an introduction to 4th Grade Standards.
There is also a standards checklist that you can use to record your students' results. I have also included a black and white cover page in case you want to make a monthly packet for your students ahead of time as a way to keep their papers organized. This would be a great tool for parent communication as well as a convenient way to keep data. Answer keys are included for easy grading.
Included: ~6 months of Word Problem of the Day- Months included in this bundle are January, February, March, April, May, and June ~About the Resource informational page ~6 black & white journal covers (1 per month) ~48 Word Problem of the Day practice pages (8 per month) ~48 Answer Key pages (8 per month) ~6 recording chart for tracking student results (If you would like a writable copy of the chart, please let me know and I will email you one) (1 per month)
